This privacy policy explains how airMY Pty Ltd collects, uses, stores, discloses personal information when you use our iOS applications including Bballstat.
1. who we are
We are an iOS based application developer located in Australia. We aim to collect the minimum amount of personal information needed for the app to work.
2. what we collect
Information we may collect or receive includes
- app usage and configuration such as team names, player labels, match data that you enter
- device information such as model, operating system version, language
- purchase information from Apple for BballStat Pro in order to confirm your subscription
- support information when you contact us including your email address and the details you provide
3. how we collect it
Information is collected when you enter it in the app, when Apple sends us a receipt to confirm a purchase, when you contact us for support, when the app syncs with iCloud if you have enabled it.
4. why we collect it
We collect information so that we can
- provide core Bballstat features during a live match
- restore purchases and confirm Bballstat Pro eligibility
- sync your data to iCloud so you can access it again
- respond to support requests
- comply with Australian law
5. storage, iCloud sync, offline use
Bballstat is designed to work offline during match play. In that mode data is stored locally on your device. Where you have an active Pro subscription the app may use iCloud to sync your data between devices signed in with the same Apple ID. iCloud is provided by Apple, your data is subject to Apple iCloud terms. We do not sell personal information.
6. disclosure to third parties
We may disclose limited personal information to
- Apple for purchase validation and subscription management
- service providers who help us deliver the app only where they need access
- authorities where required by law or regulation
7. australian privacy principles (APP)
We aim to handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can request access to personal information we hold about you, you can request correction if it is inaccurate.
8. access and correction
To request a copy or correction of your personal information contact us at team@airmygroup.com. We may need to verify your identity before we can act.
9. data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, to meet legal obligations, to resolve disputes. You can remove match data from the app at any time from settings. You can disable iCloud sync from Apple settings if you do not want cloud storage.
10. children
Our apps can be used to record information about junior or youth players. We expect the adult responsible for the device to control what is entered. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
11. overseas transfers
Some services we use may be hosted overseas. Where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient protects personal information in a similar way.
